This year we skip autumn and go straight to winter with a new map, Icy Fantasy, by Rambetter. It has 20 jumps and is about 16 mbyte large. We have recycled the douzetraining jump server with this map. Now server 62.129.133.10:27961 will run map ut4_icyfantasy dedicated, but we will be adding more icy maps later. Like last winter we will be having a icy jumps server. Enjoy the map and the ice, happy jumping.

The guys from Frozen Sand [ click here ] released another bit of footage to tease us with the 4.2 release. The map looks really great with the new effects, and i think nobody can really wait to be able to play it. The map is created by Null [ click here ] of the Frozen Sand team. The map is pretty large and the new effects might cause some FPS drops on the lower end computers, but will have to wait some more and see when it will be finally released. For the meantime... check out the following youtube clip.

Urban Zone [ click here ] proudly announces their first Urban Zone Skeet Shoot Tournament.

This is your chance to win millions! Play for hard cash in this tournament. The signup fee will be €5.00 and the cash will be divided as follows: 1st 50%, 2nd 25%, 3rd 15%. There will still be free signups as well but those who sign up for free won't be competing for the cash prize.

Smachine is responsible for the new paint job where the modelling and shading needs were handled by Frankie V with the help of BladeKiller. Also under the heading of general house keeping all three game flags have been polished up with a bit more detail in design and texturing......."

Weee finally 15.000 snipers have hit the sniper/pistol server since the installation of b3. |cOn|-=Je@nseb=- is player number 15.000. Welcome him!

Up to the next 5.000 to make 20.000 snipers. This should approximately take 50 days, let's see if this estimate is correct.

Just a quick message to notify everybody that the mumble server (murmur) has been upgraded to the last version, 1.2.2.

With this upgrade/restart authentication is mandatory again. If you are a friend of the clan and or member and you cannot connect anymore, please contact one of us so we can setup a new account for you.

It was time to expand the maprotation on the sniper/pistol server once again. This time the lucky map is ut4_village_classic_rc4. This classic map has nice long roads, and indoor places as well as outdoor places that lend themselves for the ultimate sniper/pistol slaughter party. The map is of course available via auto download and can be found on the download page of our website. The map should be familiar to the older urbanterror players and we hope to see it back in version 4.2 of urbanterror too.

A bit late news message, but here it is. We have installed a spree plugin for the BigBrotherBot which is active on our public urbanterror servers. The plugin will notify players when a player is on a kill or death streak.

The bot will monitor player progress and broadcast a (reward) message when a streak/spree has been achieved.

Suicide and teamkills will not affect your spree/streak. Happy killing, enjoy the new feature!

Today we have added another map to the map rotation of our sniper/pistol server. This time it is ut4_streets that has been added to server. This old school map is great for this server, and we hope you enjoy it. In case you do not enjoy it, please leave the server and make place for people who do want to play this map. Just a reminder, whiners can and will be muted and or banned from the server. People should only have the intention to have fun on the server, and of course not at the expense of others. Here a post to tell you people about the updated TS 2 server. This server is now called TS Classics. This urbanterror server runs classic maps, which you might have expected by the name of it. Enjoy maps like swim, docks, village and streets. Regain your old glory on these maps. The server will be adding more classic maps in the future. For now enjoy all these maps. Just a notice that we are now enforcing an anti inactivity policy. People that are afk and do not move for more then 20 seconds will be automatically removed from the server. This however without penalty. People are free to rejoin, but should learn that when away from keyboard, please go to spectate. If the server is full and you want to be away from keyboard. Please leave the server else risk a ban of 2 hours.
